Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Movie Analysis

In the 'Bhool Bhulayya' series of films, who is the real ghost that keeps the audience hooked till the end? A twist on the subject. In that regard, 'Bhool Bhulayya 3' was also successful. The twist at the end is anyone's guess. But is a twist enough to make this a good movie?

'Bhool Bhulayya 3' starts off very fun. Karthik Aryan's tricks as Ruhi Baba are impressive. The horror elements start when the story shifts to Rakghat Fort. Some jump scare scenes are scary. But the confusion increases as the story progresses. The interval twist shocks at first but adds to the confusion in the second half.

The movie has some dream episodes. They do nothing to progress the story forward. Horror cannot be generated from the story and created with unnecessary episodes. The comedy, however, exploded well in some places. The comedy flourishes due to the presence of artists with good timing on screen. If you see the main twist that is revealed at the end, you will remember a horror comedy that was recently released in Telugu and became a blockbuster.

Nothing special about the songs. Not so good to hear. Also, the placement of songs is very bad. Sandeep Shirodkar is a bit scary with the background score. The artwork in the movie is very good. The castle set is well done.

Actors Performance

Karthik Aryan impresses as Ruhi Baba. His natural comedic timing, Ez... was a plus for this role. The heroine role played by Tripti Dimri is limited to the glamor show only. Despite the presence of talented actors like Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit, they lacked the necessary scope to show emotion other than to scare them. All other characters are ok.

Overall, if you think that 'Stree 2' will be in the Bollywood horror comedy range, you will be disappointed. If you want to watch a fun time pass movie that will make you laugh a bit during the weekend, you can watch 'Bhool Bhulayya 3'.
