Daku Maharaj Movie Review: Nowadays, wherever Telugu people are, wherever Telugu movie lovers are, the common slogan on their lips is Jai Balayya.. No matter which hero's movie is playing in the theaters, Telugu people at any function, or at any celebration, have to say Jai Balayya. That slogan has become a thing now. Balayya has made a nest in the hearts of Telugu people even at this age.
After many years, with three consecutive hat-trick hits like Akhanda – Veerasimha Reddy – and Bhagavanth Kesari, he is in full swing with an unstoppable blockbuster on the screen. Daku Maharaj, which has done the highest pre-release business in Balayya's career, is directed by Bobby. With huge expectations, Balayya will start a double hat-trick with this film. Did Balayya roar at the box office with Daku? Or not? Let's see in the review.
Daku Maharaj Movie Story:
Nanaji (Balakrishna) comes to the rescue of a young woman from a wealthy family in the hill station of Madanapalle. At the same time, Sitaram (Balakrishna).. His wife (Pragya Jaiswal) works as an irrigation engineer in the Madhya Pradesh-Rajasthan region. The powerful Thakur family dominates this region and also runs the marble mining business.
When the villagers there were struggling without water, what kind of difficulties did Sitaram face from the Tagore family as he stood by them… How did Sitaram eventually become Daku Maharaj.. Why is the role of the Collector (Shraddha Srinath) crucial in this story? What happened to Daku in this struggle? The story of this film is about the link between Nanaji.. and Daku.
Daku Maharaj Movie Analysis:
When it is said in the promotions that this is a Jailor – Vikram range type film, will there be such a scene? Some people have doubts. Today, if you put the story aside for a while, the elevations are there.. When you watch the BGM for those scenes, you really get goosebumps in the theaters.. Goosebumps are heard. There is nothing new in the story.. There is no doubt about it.. The way the character of Daku Maharaj is written, but the way it is portrayed on screen is mind-blowing.. The whole story is almost predictable.. The movie does not move forward in the first ten minutes.. Then it speeds up.
Bobby changes gear.. From there, it speeds up and goes with a massacre until the interval bang. Bobby cuts the massacre with an interval bang. The second half is a bit slow, but there is a family sentiment. The sandstorm episode.. The momentum that came with the Chambal Valley scenes could not be continued till the climax.. The climax plot fell apart. Boyapati – Balayya’s movie is about mass.. But Bobby showed what it would be like if Balayya was stylishly shown from the same mass perspective.
Bobby has completed the biggest challenge of both impressing the mass.. and presenting the movie stylishly. Many scenes are edge-of-the-seat… high-action moments that will drive you crazy. Chakravarthy Reddy has magic in his screenplay… but as a writer, Bobby could not imagine creatively. We can imagine many scenes.. No matter how many complaints there are.. Daku Maharaj's character.. eye-catching elevations.. Thaman's BGM took the movie to a range and made us laugh for as long as we watched the movie in the theaters. No complaint stopped the success of the movie.
Actors' Performance:
Balakrishna as Daku Maharaj.. and as Nanaji he impressed. If his acting as Daku Maharaj shows his universality... as Nanaji, his usual heavy dialogues.. impressed us with his simple acting and naturalness. He gave a very balanced performance. Although Bobby Deol's role as Thakur is brutal, Balayya did not write this role with boldness. He should have used it more. Pragya Jaiswal has a good screen presence in the second half as Balayya's wife. Shraddha Srinath is the collector.. The emotional ending of her role is good. Urvashi Rautela is good with an item song.
Technically:
Technically, Thaman plays a key role in the success of the film.. Without the original BGM, the film cannot be imagined... Continuing the unwavering legacy, why only Balayya? He is such a big fan.. Why did he prove himself once again in a special for Balayya's films? Vijay Kannan's cinematography and color toning are amazing. Sitara's production values are amazing. Naga Vamsi has produced it richly without compromising on the investment. Although there are some complaints in the editing second half, it is not a big problem.
Daku Maharaj movie has super stylish action scenes.. High-speed screenplay is very special. Director Bobby has written a routine story. But the high-speed screenplay... The six or seven blocks that drive the mass audience crazy are really a big feast for Balayya and the mass fans. This movie is sure to drive the mass audience crazy for all the heroes.. It also continues the Jai Balayya slogan. It must be said that this Sankrantika festival is a true mass festival.
Plus Points ( + ) :
– Balayya Vishwaropam as Daku
– Chakravarthy Reddy's screenplay
– Racy – Stylish action episodes
– Cinematography
– Thaman's background score is the first highlight in the movie
Minus Points ( – ) :
– Routine story
– Plot climax
Finally…
Director Bobby has brought the character of Daku Maharaj to the screen in a routine story. Thaman's background music is the first highlight of the movie… It is in a range that dominates almost everyone, including Balayya. The background music has elevated the range of many key scenes, including the first stop. The magical screenplay... but routine story.. predictable second half.. plot climax.. Bobby's weak writing has reduced the film's stature. However, Daku Maharaj is a mass feast that is perfect for festivals.
Daku Maharaj Final Punch: Balayya's performance as Daku is a universal one
Daku Maharaj TL Rating: 3 / 5
