Sankranthi Vasthunnam Movie Review: With so many movies in the race for this Sankranthi, everyone's eyes are on the movie 'Sankranthiki Yaayanam' starring Venkatesh as the hero. The reason for that is that Venkatesh is acting as a family hero in this movie. Moreover, fans had predicted in advance that this movie would be a hit on the same level as the movie 'Beede Illalu Kantintlo Priyuralu' was a big hit once. The fact that this movie is being directed by Anil Ravipudi has made people have huge expectations.
In the past, every movie made by the Venkatesh - Anil Ravipudi combo has also become a super duper hit. The movie 'Sankranthiki Yaayanam', which was released in theaters a short while ago, received hit talk. It brought good marks to both Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi. Everyone knows that every movie starring Victory Venkatesh with a family background in history has been a hit.
Victory Venkatesh and his wife, to make such a crazy hit, released the movie “Sankranthiki Yaalanam” as a Sankranthi gift. People were already fixated that this movie would be a hit. The released teaser and trailer also increased the interest in the movie. But what is the story of this movie..? What is the story..? What is the plot..? Let’s take a look at it..!
Sankranthiki Vasthunnam Movie Story:
Raju (Venkatesh) and Bhagyalakshmi (Aishwarya Rajesh) belong to a normal middle-class family and are a happy family. Raju loves Bhagya immensely, calling her Ramchilakava even on the banks of the Godarigattu. In a happy moment, he tells his first love story to his wife. That’s where the real problem starts. He tells the love story of his time as a police officer with Meena (Meenakshi Chaudhary), a trainee. Raju, who was suspended for not doing anything wrong in a case, takes on the responsibility of solving a high-profile kidnapping case.
Believing that only Raju can solve this crime and kidnapping case, which has become an insurmountable challenge even for the police, his suspension is lifted and the responsibility of catching the criminals is given to him. For this, he goes on an adventure journey with his ex-girlfriend (Meenakshi Chaudhary). His wife Bhagya Lakshmi (Aishwarya Rajesh) is also added to this journey. This film is a story of comedy, emotions, and thrills that they encounter in this case.
Sankranthiki Vasthunnam Analysis:
There is no need to say anything special about Venkatesh's track record as a family hero. Venkatesh completely immerses himself in the character of Raju. Venkatesh has cultivated a comedy range in the role of handling his wife on one side and his ex-lover on the other. Accordingly, the dialogues written by Anil Ravipudi, the flirting, fun, and fights between a wife and a husband, are well shown on screen.
It must be said that both Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi have succeeded in this point in terms of acting and direction. Anil Ravipudi has managed the first half without boring. Vydi Raju (Venkatesh), a former police officer, lives with his family in Godavari district. The main point of this film is that he is called back for an assignment. On the one hand, the direction and on the other hand, the performances of the actors became the main reason for the film to become a hit.
Anil Ravipudi has directed some scenes very well in a way that the naughty scenes of the husband and wife that come here and there also remind the people who came to the theaters, especially the husband and wife, of some romantic scenes related to their past. He has put aside logic and focused on comedy. In that case, if the comedy workout is OK. Otherwise, the audience is sure to get irritated. The story also does not seem great. Some funny scenes have made this film stand.
Actors' performances:
Venkatesh is hilarious in the role of Raju. He solves the kidnapping case while telling his wife how much he loves her. Aishwarya Rajesh did not act in the role of Bhagyalakshmi..she lived. Moreover, the extreme love..humility..suspicion that Aishwarya Rajesh shows due to the fear that her husband will fall in love with his ex-girlfriend all worked out well on screen. Meenakshi Chowdhury's method of always concentrating on her case became the highlight. The character artists who acted in this film also did justice to their roles.
Strength: The entire strength of this total film is comedy. It is full of comedy from the start to the end. Every scene makes the audience laugh. Along with comedy, some emotional scenes also connect well with the people. The songs in the film are good. The locations are also good.
Defects: Routine story..predicting the scenes in advance..not being able to show the story in a new way..such stories are seen in many films. The length of the film may be a bit of a problem.
Conclusion: Overall, ‘Sankranthiki Yaaanaam’ is a solid family entertainer. A good choice for the family audience this Sankranthiki. Otherwise, some irritating scenes should be tolerated. Venkatesh fans and those who like comedy films will definitely like this movie. Those who are looking for a new story may find this movie a bit boring. Similarly, one should not expect much from the story. If these conditions are the same, Sankranthiki Yaaanaam will be satisfied with its comedy.
